News from the Nurse

4-20-2015: There continues to be two primary illnesses at LBMS. The first is a respiratory virus with sore throat and cough, and the other is a stomach virus with vomiting. Both can cause low grade fevers, but not all of the time. The respiratory virus tends to linger, with the cough lasting about 7 to 10 days. Spring allergies are also causing misery to students and staff.
As a reminder, I am not legally allowed to dispense any medication to a student without a medication form signed by both a parent and a physician. These forms can be downloaded from our website under the health tab.
Thanks for your time, and again, feel free to contact me with any questions!
