LBMS Students Raise Over $1,000 for Clean Drinking Water in Ghana

The goal of the students’ enrichment project was to raise over $250 to help provide residents of Ghana with clean drinking water. In order to reach this goal, each advisory was asked to bring in loose change. The winning advisory for each grade level received a custom designed water bottle, designed and created by LBMS students Ali Jackson, Elizabeth Kissel, Indira Roy, Tyler Guttman, Anna McCall and Camille Valentincic, organizers of the event.

Just two days into the project, the students of Lake Bluff Middle School had already raised over $300. And when the fundraiser wrapped up two weeks later, over $1,000 had been raised.
