Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 7:00-8:30 p.m., at Lake Forest High School (RMA), Tina Marie Griffin to address parents and youth:  "Hollywood Exposed: A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Today's Pop Culture."  Tina speaks to teenagers all over the country on a mission to reveal the sometimes deadly consequences of the glamorization of drug and alcohol abuse, sex, and self-destructive behaviors portrayed in pop culture.  Read more about Calling All Parents!!
Internet Safety-What Parents Need to Know

Are you concerned about your child and the Internet?  Should you be MORE concerned?  On Wednesday evening, February 19, join Internet Safety Specialist Melissa Hemzacek, MSW, LSW of the Attorney General’s High Tech Crimes Bureau as she talks about cyberbullying, digital citizenship, privacy, sites and apps most used by youth/teens, self-representation, sexting and online predators.

Local students to benefit from LF-LB LDA "Make a Difference" grants

Recent grants by the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Learning Disabilities Association (LDA) will fund a variety of tools to assist children in the community who learn differently. New 24/7 anonymous Text-A-Tip system for mental health is now available

1-22-2014:  An anonymous 24/7 text system called Text-A-Tip has been launched by the Community Wellness Task Force of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff.

No-charge Preschool Screening to be Sept. 20 and March 7
8-30-2013: The Lake Bluff Schools are working with Lake Forest School District 67 to provide educational screening at no charge on Friday, September 20, 2013 and Friday, March 7, 2014 for preschool-age children who reside in Lake Bluff and Lake Forest.  Read more about No-charge Preschool Screening to be Sept. 20 and March 7
LBMS Students Raise Over $1,000 for Clean Drinking Water in Ghana

Red Ribbon Week

10-17-13:  We will be celebrating National Red Ribbon Week October 21-25.  The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to create awareness surrounding the use of tobacco, alcohol and other drugs, and to support the decision to live a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.  Read more about Red Ribbon Week
